My Pool journey began as a teenager with a Pool table at home. I really enjoyed teaching myself the basic skills. As a family man from age 20 to 50, I only played occasionally. Then I discovered League Pool. After about a month in APA I knew I needed help. I found a Master Instructor who helped me improve my game quickly. He encouraged me to become a Certified Instructor, which I did in 2000. Five years later, I was the League MVP.

After teaching young students, I began qualifying Junior players to compete at the Junior National 9 Ball Championships. I also volunteered as a Referee for 7 years. What a blessing!

After more training at various Pool Schools, I’m now an Advanced Level 3 Instructor / Coach. Eventually I learned that 2 of my students had won National Championships. One in 8 Ball and one in 9 Ball. They’re the ones who made the shots. I was doing what I love.
